There was no fairy tale ending when the cameras stopped rolling for Evan
Marriott and Zora Andrich of "Joe Millionaire" fame.
The statuesque brunette said last night she and Marriott are "friends" and
she's "not really" dating anyone.
Andrich said she hasn't seen Marriott since they took a flight together back to
New York from Los Angeles after the filming of last week's aftermath episode,
when they talked about getting together for a beer.
But last night, she didn't seem certain she'd even see Marriott again. "I think
we might make a few appearances together, see what happens," she said.
Andrich, 29, a substitute teacher from Lambertville, N.J., wore a tight-fitting
black suit, heels and pearls to a corporate bash at the Copacabana last night.
She was paid about $5,000 to attend the Isle of Capri Casinos event, where the
riverboat gambling concern unveiled a new Ricardo Montalban commercial.
Andrich said her life is "completely different" since millions of Americans
watched Marriott woo her at a French chateau. "I don't even know where to
start," Andrich said. "I've lost all anonymity - local papers, they talk about
what I purchase in the store."
Most people who've approached her have been complimentary, she said: "They were
very pleased in the way I presented myself, conducted myself."
Asked if she'd do it all again, Andrich, who got $500,000 at the end of the
show, replied, "It depends on when you ask me."
